Continuous service improvements now extend to UV Pure's warranty UV Pure is pleased to announce improvement to our warranty coverage that will become effective on May 1, 2010. Now lamps and sensors will be covered for one year with no pro-rata partial payment required. In other words, if a lamp or sensor fails before the end of its warranty period, UV Pure will replace it at no cost. The depth and breadth of Mark's background in sales and marketing in the clean- and green-tech sectors will be a great asset as he takes on management of two wholesale customers and other accounts with significant potential. Mark is very excited about working with high quality products that help solve a major world-wide issue by ensuring people have access to safe, clean water. Based in Toronto, Mark is a keen soccer fan and a travel enthusiast so is looking forward to visiting South Africa this summer to take in the FIFA World Cup. |

North Sydney Council chooses UV Pure for re-circulating grey water To answer Australia's water shortage issues, city governments are looking to harvest, filter and treat storm water from urban catchments for irrigation of sporting and recreation facilities. In North Sydney, in a the project where 14 Hallett Upstream 15/50 have been installed to water the North Sydney Oval and the Cammeray golf course, the Council is expecting to save 90 million of litres of drinking water each year and improve the local environment. UV Pure's leading technology is an important piece in the management of Australia's scarce resource. According to the North Sydney Council, "UV Pure lamps were chosen since their have an automatic cut-out if the turbidity of the water is too high for the UV to be 100% effective". |

Mike Holmes is at it again… solving water quality issues with the installation of a UV Pure unit on Holmes Inspection™ Hugh Scholz of Flow Water Solutions and Kinetico of Caledon was the consultant for the water purification installation and the water well upgrade. Beginning with a potential GUDI (Groundwater Under Direct Influence) water well located in a well pit which had seen flooding and a poor seal, they extended the casing to bring it up to current regulation and installed a new well pump. The home's water was treated with proper water treatment system for the application, sanitized with chlorine and a UV Pure Upstream 10-50 was installed. Hugh has recently confirmed the client is delighted with the water treatment and the renovation.
