Billed as “the world’s water event”, the American Water Works Association’s Annual Conference and Exposition is a can’t miss event for all those interested in drinking water treatment. Held in Washington, D.C. from June 12 – 16, 2011, the Show will be attended by thousands of water professionals, gathering to tackle a growing number of challenges, from infrastructure management to water resources protection to advanced treatment technologies.

UV Pure’s successful outreach in the Chinese market
Jie Technologies, UV Pure’s distribution partner in China, recently participated in Aquatech China - the nation’s biggest water show. Based in Shanghai, the show attracted more than 800 exhibitors and is a hub for the Chinese water market. The focus was the future of the Chinese water treatment sector, after unprecedented opportunities in the water industry emerged, partly as a result of the government’s investment plan to improve water quality announced in 2008. The need for pure safe water continues to develop in China as cities grow exponentially and commercial and industrial output increases. Alan McMillan, President of Jie Technologies said, “the show was a great success. We had tremendous interest in UV Pure’s products and the uniqueness of the technology. Our booth attracted visitors not only from different parts of China, but from India, Japan, Korea, Saudi Arabia and Greece as well. We’re looking forward to growing our dealer network and capitalize on the significant demand for superior water treatment products”. |
