UV Pure introduces new product line: NEMA cabinets for higher flow applications with multiplexed UV water purification systems To answer a growing demand for UV disinfection in hazardous or wet environments, UV Pure is pleased to launch a new line of products: multiplexed Hallett systems in NEMA cabinets. The Hallett systems are NSF 55 Class A certified and the multiplexed set up is certified by National Electrical Manufacturers Association, the leading US trade association representing the interests of the electro-industry manufacturers, to this safe standard for use in utility, industrial, commercial, institutional and residential applications. UV Pure’s initial installations of the cabinets with flow rates of up to 150 GPM, have been in the pulp & paper and oil & gas sectors. The multiplexed systems can handle large flows with the benefit of having everything connected upfront and ready to operate. Clients have been pleased with the simple “in and out connections” and extra protection from spray wash and high humidity the cabinets provide, as well as the forced air ventilation and lack of manpower for installation and pipe connection. Stay tuned for more information on this evolved product line. |

Filling a gap in Atlantic Purification Systems’ product line for waste water A family owned-business, Atlantic Purification Systems (APS) has been serving the municipal, industrial and commercial markets in Atlantic Canada since 1970. With new, more stringent regulations for decentralized waste water units that require UV, they recently needed to replace their previous UV product line with a new technology that meets the standards for this tertiary treatment. They chose UV Pure units because of their success in the field as well as the rigorous testing and certification. According to Tyler Gamble, Wholesale Water Conditioning Sales at APS, “The UV Pure team has been super helpful all along the way and we're pleased the units successfully filled the gap in our waste water product line, a niche that we expect to grow.” |
