: UV Pure’s Crossfire Technology Takes Off: Patented Crossfire Technology debuts on Boeing 787 Dreamliner
Zodiac Aerospace has signed a technology licensing agreement with UV Pure for exclusive use of UV Pure's patented Crossfire Technology in aerospace applications. The device will debut this spring on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, widely regarded as setting the new standard for 21st century air travel.
Zodiac Aerospace’s Monogram Systems division conducted a global search for the most advanced UV water purification technology available, for their newly developed Aircraft water purification treatment system. Monogram and UV Pure engineers collaborated to adapt the land based technology to an aerospace platform and certify it to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards.
The same Crossfire Technology that will purify the water on board the Boeing 787 is incorporated in all UV Pure systems, utilized in over 9000 applications globally, representing significant engineering and performance advances for UV based water purification systems.
The Boeing / Monogram / UV Pure system will be on display at the UV Pure booth #561, March 10 – 13, at WQA Aquatech in Orlando FL.
