Announcing Exclusive Distribution Agreement

CUNO Incorporated, a 3M company, is pleased to announce an exclusive distribution agreement with UV Pure Technologies of Toronto, Canada. The agreement grants CUNO Incorporated the exclusive rights to distribute the entire line of UV Pure’s water purification systems through plumbing wholesale channels in the U.S. 3M Canada has been granted the same exclusive rights for plumbing wholesale channels in Canada. In both countries, the agreement allows for the sale of product into other channels on a non-exclusive basis.


UV Pure’s products are globally recognized as industry leaders in effective UV water purification. UV Pure markets two product lines: the NSF/ANSI 55 Class A Certified Hallett™ series, and the Upsteam™ product line that is engineered to achieve the same performance standards as NSF/ANSI 55 Class A, but for use where regulations do not require it. Both product lines incorporate the company’s patented Crossfire Technology that is self cleaning and smart. UV Pure products provide cleaner drinking water in thousands of regulated environments such as municipalities, schools, and hospitals, and will now be available for residential installations in most states (local regulations may apply). According to the company, the proven technology is effective for disinfection of water-borne pathogens including viruses, bacteria, cryptosporidium, giardia, Legionella and E. coli.
