Culligan Dealer Uses Hallett Systems Exclusively for UV Applications.
Bert Wittenburg is a Culligan dealer in Western Colorado. Bert’s Grand Junction, Colorado franchise has been in business since 1972. With a long career in drinking and waste water treatment, Bert understands his commercial, municipal and residential customers’ water purification needs. He became an exclusive UV Pure dealer two years ago after experiencing the fail safe features of Hallett™ technology.
"I’ve used several UV products and this is the strongest one we’ve ever used. It’s trouble free, the technology is way ahead of its time and it works very well in high count bacteria where other products can’t. "
In residential situations Bert has solved his customers drinking water challenges across a range of challenges. “Halletts work really well in variable water conditions such as hardness, turbidity and iron. I have no problem installing Halletts in situations with extreme high counts of bacteria of 1000 colonies or higher. UV Pure is the only company that can guarantee to kill bacteria at that level.”
Bert is so sure about UV Pure’s technology, he has installed it in their new water bottling facility. This plant will process 100 five gallon bottles per hour and a single Hallett 30 will handle all their UV purification requirements for this plant.
Cullingan Grand Junctions Specifies Hallett for Small Municipalities
Bert also specifies Hallets for his municipal jobs, including those under boil water alerts, which are not uncommon in his market. Some have been on boil water alerts for two years and Bert is helping them with this problem by specifying Hallett systems. For the Fruitland Mesa Water Company and for Paradox Water Company he has recommended the Hallett system. He finds that these municipal customers quickly recognize the benefits of UV Pure’s technology – including the kill time, lower maintenance and risk free features.
"With the EPA regulations being put in place, places like Fruitland and Paradox Pipeline are going to be ahead of the curve.”
NSF/ANSI Class 55A Certification - a Key Selling Feature
Bert finds that Hallett™ system’s NSF certification is an important feature for his customers. “NSF is an outstanding group that allows me to rest assured that the product that I am using has been fully tested, with documentation to prove it. The market that I serve is an unregulated market, with no NSF requirements. But once I realized how important it is to have a UV system that is certified NSF/ANSI Class 55A ,I decided to use them. My customers understand the importance of certified technology as well.
